Chief Financial Officer 

André Koekemoer was appointed Chief Financial Officer in December 2017 and is responsible for the Group’s financial and regulatory compliance matters. André has been with Capital Drilling since 2009, where he has performed several roles, including Operations Financial Manager, Commercial Manager LATAM, Group Financial Controller and Deputy CFO.  Prior to joining Capital Drilling, André was the Group Financial Manager at iBurst Africa, where he was part of the team deploying telecoms systems into Africa, with successful deployments in Western, Central, Eastern and Southern Africa. André holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the University of the Free State, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA.


Executive, Business Development and Strategy

Stuart has over 25 year’s experience in both mining and mining service companies. This experience covers many countries, commodities and mining methods. His roles have ranged from Driller's Offsider to Mine Manager and JV Board Director. Prior to Capital Drilling Stuart was Customer Solutions Manager accountable for the Marketing and Commercial activities in Orica’s Australia-Pacific business. Stuart has a degree in Exploration and Mining Geology and a Masters in Engineering Project Management. He is also a member of the AusIMM. Stuart has a consistent track record of finding and creating value in the drill and blast arena and further down the mining value chain.


Executive, Commercial

David Payne is Executive, Commercial having joined the company in 2005. He was previously the General Manager of an Australian based national law firm in addition to holding a number of senior managerial roles with Zurich Financial Services Australia. David has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma in Insurance from Deakin University.


Chief Operating Officer

Jodie North is Chief Operating Officer, responsible for managing Capital’s operations and site personnel and achieving contractual compliance and client satisfaction. Jodie joined the Group in August 2012 as Country Manager, Egypt and was promoted to Executive - Production in October 2016, responsible for the company's production focused business. He was appointed to his current role in March 2019. Jodie has 20 years of experience in both underground and surface operations, in both hardrock and softrock mining. He was previously Aftermarket Operations Manager, West Africa for Sandvik where he was responsible for the effective delivery of aftermarket services to Sandvik customers across all segments in West Africa.


 Executive, Asset Management

Tony is a highly accomplished professional with a multifaceted work history combined with a comprehensive exposure to underground, surface mining, maintenance and business development management, with over 25 years in Australia, PNG, Philippines and Africa. Tony has a proven ability to enhance functional excellence through the development and implementation of maintenance management systems and protocols.


Executive, Maintenance

Ryan has over 22 years’ experience in the mining industry. His extensive exposure to both surface and underground mining includes 14 years in maintenance management roles. He has worked across diverse emerging markets around the world including Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Pacific Islands, Europe, and Africa. Ryan has held roles for companies including Sandvik, Freeport, Redpath, and Major Drilling, before joining Capital in 2010. As Executive – Maintenance he is responsible for ensuring Capital’s fleet is maintained to the highest standards to ensure reliability and mechanical availability, measuring and monitoring performance and maintaining the Group and site-specific maintenance management systems. Ryan will focus on ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are implemented throughout the Group.


Executive, HSEQ

Rick is an accomplished HSEQ Manager with a proven record of achievement. He has over 16 years’ experience in the mining industry within the fields of Safety and Training, having held HSEQ management roles in both surface and underground mining operations. Rick has experience working in geographically diverse markets including Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Europe, and Africa. He has held roles for companies including Major Drilling, Boart Longyear and Britmindo before joining Capital in 2016. As Group HSEQ Manager Rick is responsible for the Group’s Training, HSEQ and Operational systems and processes, including their development, implementation, measurement and ongoing monitoring and maintenance.Rick Monoghan


Executive, Inventory Management

John has over 30 year’s experience in supply chain management, in both the highly competitive United Kingdom truck service and parts market and the mining sector. He has extensive experience managing logistics in Africa, having worked with ITM in Angola planning and managing delivery of all supplies and equipment to remote site via Hercules C130 aircraft – a result of no available infrastructure following civil war. The role required planning precision to enable successful disassembling of large machinery and equipment for transport by air and reassembly on site. He has also developed logistics processes and designed warehouses for ITM and Taywood Mining in Ghana. In his role as Area Parts Manager – West Africa for Sandvik, John designed and built a state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Ghana, which subsequently became the company’s global design standard. John is responsible for ensuring a professional supply chain department, including purchasing, parts management and logistics.
